Path Counseling and Wellness

Being a first-generation Haitian immigrant, I love learning and working with people from all walks of life. I've had the opportunity to work in college counseling centers, employee assistance programs (Kaiser, Coast Guard, CBP, SSA, etc.), and community mental health. I enjoy learning about the various facets that people have. Similar to the metaphor from the Shrek movie "Onions have layers," I believe, people have layers as well. As a result of this increased understanding of yourself, we can learn more about your motivations for taking specific actions and how to overcome challenges to help you achieve your optimal well-being.

Together, we will navigate through barriers/issues that are negatively impacting your life. I strive to be a person's guide in their self-discovery of their strengths & issues to help cultivate growth and find balance in their life. I utilize various theoretical orientations (ACT, CBT, and DBT, etc) to help reach your goals.

It's vulnerable to share your concerns with others, and it takes a lot of strength. Thank you for allowing me to be with you through your journey.
