Did you know that by the 2nd Friday in January, many people have already abandoned their “new year’s resolution”?

Yep! So instead, here’s what we suggest Setting Intentions. Ask yourself these questions and create a theme for the year or each month. For example:

•Gratitude Journaling January
•Connections with Friends/Family February
•Moving More in March

Themes can help you stand focused and not be so overwhelmed with placing as much on yourself at the start of the year.

We know the holidays can bring back those feelings of the past that might may have you reconsidering a connection.

Though the memories may be wonderful and gives you an instant smile, all relationships don’t need to be rekindled.

If this is you, ask yourself these questions before going back:

1. Have you both changed?

🤔 Have you and your ex-partner grown in ways that would make the relationship better this time around? Are these changes positive and compatible?

2. What are your true motivations?

🤔 Are you seeking comfort in the familiar, or do you genuinely believe the relationship can work now? Are you lonely, or do you truly miss the person and the relationship?

3. Are you idealizing the past?

🤔 Are you remembering the relationship realistically, including both good and bad times, or are you only focusing on the positive aspects?

Making a more informed decision instead of acting off emotions will help you make a better choice for you ❤️
