With over 12 years of experience, Dr. Davis is dedicated to empowering high-functioning adults and women of color as they navigate significant life transitions and the unique challenges arising from their educational and career journeys.
Dr. Davis is passionate about providing her clients with the essential tools needed to master all areas of their lives. Her core focus is on assisting individuals who find it difficult to cope with major life transitions—whether these shifts are environmental, physical, mental, expected, or unexpected. These changes can manifest in various ways, such as the birth of a child, job loss or gain, relocation, relationship changes, the death of a loved one, physical body shifts, health diagnoses, aging, or the empty nest syndrome. Dr. Davis also has a particular expertise in supporting adults through the demanding landscape of advanced educational pursuits, including law school, medical school, and doctoral programs, understanding the immense pressures, stress, and unique transitional challenges inherent in these rigorous journeys. While these transitions can often lead to challenges like depression, anxiety, fear, adjustment disorders, low self-worth, and stress, Dr. Davis is an expert at helping clients uncover the adaptive feelings and emotions that can emerge, transforming obstacles into opportunities for growth.
She firmly believes there's beauty in change and transitions, and that with the right therapeutic support, everyone has the capacity to not only manage but master the transitions of life, turning challenges into stepping stones toward a more fulfilling future.
