Guan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Guan has worked in the human and social services profession for over 15 years. She has developed her skills while working as a Social Worker for the Department of Children and Families, Substance abuse clinician and group facilitator with Highpoint Treatment Center, and a child and family therapist, with a multitude of agencies within Massachusetts.
Guan established Leading Light Behavioral Health, inc. (LLBH) which utilizes an array of evidenced-based approaches such as Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Health (DBT)? The Gottman Methods and more.
