I hope to serve as a guide, someone to walk alongside on your path to self-discovery. Clients and colleagues describe me as open, warm, grounding, and collaborative. I strive to model balance in my work – creating a safe, supportive space for the hard stuff and for levity, humor and joy. Above all else, I meet clients exactly where they are as they engage with therapy. I believe most of us are doing the best we can with the tools we have at our disposal. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to discover what serves us and to release what holds us back.
I am rooted in my work as a trauma-therapist, previously providing care to survivors of interpersonal violence at The UCSF Trauma Recovery Center. This experience is integral to my private practice and informs how I hold space for each person’s unique journey toward healing and growth. While our struggles can sometimes feel overwhelming and insurmountable, each of us is in fact so much more than our worst moments, greatest adversities, or most painful mistakes. I am driven each day by the opportunity to help clients rediscover and activate their whole integrated selves.
