My name is Lauren and I am an holistic and compassionate somatic therapist experienced in working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, and relationship or parenting challenges that may be rooted in trauma. I help clients do the deep work of healing the trauma at the center of their problems while learning how to bring more joy, ease, alignment, and connection into their daily lives using EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, and self-compassion. A therapy session with me is engaging and empowering. We may help you explore mind-body practices, try a new communication skill, understand your attachment style, work through a values clarification exercise, or problem-solve a current challenge. My clients feel supported during sessions because I am always helping you discover insights, asking questions, guiding you in practices, and creating an affirming space for them to grow.
I am an affirming therapist who is committed to creating healing space for clients who are part of the BIPOC community, LGBTQIA+ community, and others who may have stayed away from therapy because they fear that their lifestyles and ways of being (from polyamory to healthy substance use), interests (from astrology to herbology), or past choices might be judged.
