Shionna Stupart is a licensed clinical social worker with a focus on treating mental illness, emotional and other behavioral disturbances. She is currently accepting clients residing in New York only. She uses a comprehensive approach to treatment in order enhance social functioning, self-determination, optimal health, and overall well-being. As a clinician her purpose is to provide a collaborative safe environment in order to process and redefine those experiences and garner insight. She values building and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with each client by imparting empathy, confidentiality and understanding.
Since completing her education she's worked in child welfare with family’s and also as an individual therapist working with children, adolescents and adults. Studying social work has allowed her to approach her clinical work in a more aggregate way that assesses the interconnection of the individual’s bio-psycho-social-spiritual-culture.
Her specialties includes but are not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ issues and behavioral issues, with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
