. People may react defensively when they feel they

People may react defensively when they feel they are being judged, criticized, or blamed. This is especially true if there’s a history of being criticized.

If this sounds like you (or someone you know 😉), here’s how to address it:

📍For yourself:

•Work on self-awareness: Try pausing before reacting and ask yourself “why am I reacting this way”

•Change your perspective: Work on assuming good intentions. Not every comment is an attack.

•Implement emotional regulation: Take deep breaths to allow yourself the space to respond rather than react.
